Time to think about summer camp: How about Camp Kindling?
Our co-operative, the Community Health Services (Saskatoon) Association, is proud to once again support two participants to attend Camp Kindling this summer.
If you are between 12 and 18 and want to open yourself up to new opportunities or to try a different kind of summer camp, you will want to apply for sponsorship.
Camp Kindling, formerly Co-op Camp, is all about participation and building leadership, communication and self-awareness skills. Participants take part in social events, activities and sessions indoors and out. In some camps, youth get to run and be a part of their own co-op canteen. You will explore co-operatives, community, media, friendships and global events in hands-on, interactive ways. Camp Kindling prides itself on being a safe and an inclusive space.

If you are interested in applying for sponsorship from our board, here’s what you need to do:
- Send an email to the Saskatoon Community Clinic’s Member and Public Relations Department at [email protected] by Friday, March 31.
- In that email, in 250 words or less, tell us a little bit about yourself, what you hope to do at camp and what attending might mean for you.
Please note:
We will ask youth who receive a sponsorship to share their experiences with us in some way – it might be a brief report or a short presentation to our board, for example.
If you have any questions, please contact the Member and Public Relations Department at [email protected] or call 306-664-4243.
