Specifically for seniors, the Saskatchewan government’s Programs and Services of Interest for Seniors booklet provides detailed information related to finances, housing, health and recreation.  As well, the Government of Saskatchewan Services for Seniors website provides online access to information on a host of topics including Care at Home and Outside the Hospital, Seniors Drug Plan, Applying for a Personal Care Home Subsidy and Seniors Living in Small Communities.

The Provincial/Territorial/Federal Ministers Responsible for Seniors Forum is a collective endeavour by an intergovernmental body established to share information, discuss new and emerging issues related to seniors, and work collaboratively on key projects. The information on this site is of value to seniors, their families, caregivers and supporting seniors’ service organizations. Some of the topics found in this forum include:

Saskatoon Care Homes provides access to a comprehensive online directory of federal and provincial services that can be accessed by links directly from the online directory.

The Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA) is a non-profit organization and community leader in the promotion of dignity, health and independence of older adults through programs, services, education and awareness.


The Saskatoon Community Clinic supports healthy aging through its comprehensive approach to primary care and programs targeted to meet the needs of our senior population.
