2023 Influenza and COVID-19 Immunization Options

Please bring your health card with you! Influenza and Covid-19 immunization options are available as follows:

Saskatoon Community Clinic Pharmacy – Downtown
The influenza vaccine is now available at the Downtown Saskatoon Community Clinic Pharmacy for anyone who is five and older, whether or not they are a patient of the Saskatoon Community Clinic. The Covid-19 Moderna Spikevax XBB.1.5 is available to those 12 years and older. Appointments available at www.saskatooncommunityclinic.ca/ or by phoning the pharmacy at 306-664-4277.

Downtown patients
Downtown patients six months of age or older may make an appointment to receive the influenza vaccine with the nurse. Patients of the clinic who are 12 years and older can make an appointment to receive the Covid-19 Moderna vaccine with the nurse. Children must be accompanied by their legal guardian/parent. You can also ask your provider during your appointment: Call 306-652-0300.

Westside patients
Westside patients may drop in for influenza and Covid-19 immunizations anytime Westside is open. Patients must be six months of age or older for an influenza vaccination and 12 years and older for a Covid-19 vaccination here.

Public Health Locations
Public Health will be providing influenza immunization clinics at locations throughout Saskatchewan. Information about times, dates, and locations are available on the following website: https://www.saskhealthauthority.ca/your-health/conditions-diseases-services/flu-season. You can also book over the phone by calling 1-833-727-5829.


For your safety you will be asked to wait 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine to ensure there is no reaction.

Seniors Advisory Council’s Student Research Project final report now available – ‘Seniors Advocates in Canadian Provinces’

At the Saskatoon Community Clinic’s Annual General Meeting of 2017, the Clinic’s membership adopted a resolution moved by the Seniors Advisory Council requesting the establishment of an Independent Seniors Advocate in Saskatchewan. The purpose of this report is to explore the role and function of Seniors Advocates in Canada in order to help inform this resolution.
