Families in TRANSition – Group Program

Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The Counselling & Community Services Department is offering a 6-session support group early in 2025. This group will meet every two weeks and provide clinic patients and members a supportive space to process their loss and grief.
Coming together in a group provides an opportunity to meet and share experience with others who are coping with loss and grief. It does not matter how long ago you had the loss or who it was that you lost. If you are grieving and want support, you are welcome.

Saskatoon Community Clinic Pharmacy – Downtown
The influenza vaccine will be available at the Downtown Saskatoon Community Clinic Pharmacy for anyone who is 5 years and older with a valid SK health card.
The COVID-19 vaccine will be available to those 12 years and older with a valid SK health card. Appointments available at www.saskatooncommunityclinic.ca/ or by phoning the pharmacy at 306-664-4277.
Downtown patients
Downtown patients 6 months of age and older may make an appointment to receive Influenza immunizations with the nurse. Children 12 years and older may make an appointment to receive COVID-19 immunizations with the nurse. Children must be accompanied by their legal guardian. You can also ask your Provider during your appointment; however, it is not guaranteed vaccinations will be able to be administered as per staffing and time limitations. Appointments can be booked by calling 306-652-0300.
Westside patients
Westside patients 6 months of age and older may drop in for Influenza immunizations and patients 12 years and older may drop in for COVID-19 immunizations anytime Westside is open as staffing and time permit. Appointments can be booked by calling 306-664-4310.
Public Health
**All people aged 6 months and older are eligible for Influenza and COVID Vaccinations by Public Health**

Public Health influenza clinics can be booked online starting October 8, 2024 on the SHA Booking System or by calling 1-833-727-5829.

During routine maintenance of the interior ceiling and roof of the Mel Langer Building (424 1st Avenue North) this past spring, we learned that some of these areas had asbestos-containing materials.
2211 11th Street West is our temporary ‘Langer Building’ location while we address these issues.
