Families in TRANSition
Has a young person in your life recently told you they are Two-Spirit, trans, or non-binary?
Join us to learn more about how you can support trans young people in your life and promote their mental health and resilience. Each session is designed to grow your understanding of gender exploration and transition while fostering relationship-building communication skills.

Who Should Attend?
This group is for parents, guardians, and caregivers of Two-Spirit, trans, or non-binary young people. Children and teens do not attend these sessions. When registering, please indicate your child’s age so we can tailor examples and resources to be developmentally appropriate.

Snacks and materials are provided and there is no cost to attend. Open to all.

Tuesday, March 17 – Introduction to Gender Exploration & Systemic Barriers
Tuesday, March 31 – Supporting the Mental Health of Trans Young People
Tuesday, April 14 – Connection-Based Communication: Supporting the Whole Person in Transition
