The Community Health Services (Saskatoon) Association Ltd. speaks out publicly about the issues that affect the well-being of our members, clients and the community.

We believe that health services people need should be:

• Universal;
• Accessible;
• Comprehensive;
• Portable; and
• Publicly administered

We recognize that social and economic factors such as racism and poverty can profoundly compromise the heath of the people we serve.

We support the further development of consumer sponsored primary health care centres in our province and nation.

Through the efforts of our Board and staff and often in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Community Co-operative Health Federation and other organizations the Association advocates to local, provincial and federal decision makers on these and other issues that affect the health and well-being of those in our community.
